CSI Awards 2021: SoftAtHome Wins the Best AdTech Award for its VASP.TargetedAds Solution

PARIS, France – September 24, 2021 – SoftAtHome, an independent software company for broadband, video, and analytics, is proud to announce that its VASP.TargetedAds has won last night the Best Adtech technology award at the CSI Awards 2021. 

Addressable TV market is estimated to represent 200 to 300 million euros in France alone by 2023 (source SNPTV, Syndicat National de la Publicité TV), and operators are now able to get a slice of this new pie with SoftAtHome’s VASP.TargetedAds. The solution is integrated in the software provider’s Virtual Aggregator Service Platform suite of services. 

Orange France successful addressable TV deployment in September 2020 leveraged on VASP.TargettedAds. Following strictly the GDPR data protection rules, the offering opens a new era for the TV ad market and linear TV digitalization and enabled the French tier-one operator to become a leader in addressable TV. 

VASP.TargettedAds combines the power of the cloud with a unique multiscreen video player. The multiscreen technology is compatible with Linux, RDK, AndroidTV as well as Tizen or WebOS operating platforms. Using AI, SoftAtHome maintains user privacy by anonymizing data profiling within the set-top box. Beyond linear TV, this solution targets ads on multiscreen and Linear and non-linear (Replay, nPVR, VOD or catchup TV) content. 

SoftAtHome VASP.TargetedAds solution also includes audience measurement algorithms to bring detailed and precise viewership data to operators so they can optimize user ad viewing and monetization.
