With SoftAtHome, Operators Can Deliver First “UHD/4K experience” using HDR

The IBC 2015 demo will be shown on SoftAtHome stand 4A51.

UHD has been a buzzword for the past two years but HDR (High Dynamic Range), is inspiring consumers by drastically improving colour contrasts and is ready to deploy over current network infrastructure. HDR is well known in photography (it is integrated in most smartphones today), its application to video has a major disruptive potential. HDR works for both UHD and HD resolutions and with any frame-rates.
